Refund & Return Policy

 

Thank you for shopping with Royal Lamps. Every lamp is made to order, which means your purchase kicks off real work on our end almost immediately - so please read this before you order, especially the timing details.

 

Cancellations - 24 Hours

Changed your mind? Contact us within 24 hours of placing your order and we'll cancel it and issue a full refund, no hassle. After that window your piece has usually already entered production, which is why the cancellation window is short and firm.

 

Because Each Lamp Is Made To Order

Once production has started, we can't offer a no-reason return the way a stocked, mass-produced item could - each piece is already committed to your specific order at that point. This is standard for handmade, made-to-order goods, and it's why the 24-hour cancellation window above exists: it's your real opportunity to change your mind before that work begins.

 

A Note On Delivery Timing And Disputes

As explained in our Shipping Policy, made-to-order production can occasionally push delivery past the estimate shown at checkout. A late delivery caused by production or carrier timing is not, on its own, a valid reason for a chargeback. If your order is taking longer than expected, please contact us first - we will tell you honestly where things stand, and if we can't ultimately deliver, we will work out a fair refund with you directly. We would much rather resolve it that way than have a bank freeze funds on an order that is still genuinely in progress; a chargeback in that situation doesn't get your lamp to you any faster, it just makes it harder for a small maker-run business to keep operating.

 

If Something's Wrong With Your Order

We stand behind what we make. If your lamp arrives damaged, if the light doesn't work, or if you received the wrong design, that's on us, not you. Contact us within a reasonable time of delivery with a photo or short video and we will make it right with a replacement, a repair, or a refund - whichever actually fixes it for you.

 

Returns

An unopened, undamaged lamp may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the item price, provided it's returned in its original packaging. Return shipping for a non-defective return is the customer's responsibility. A lamp that has been damaged after delivery, or that is missing its packaging, may not be eligible for a full refund.

Please double-check your design selection and shipping address before completing your purchase - once production starts we're building to what you selected.
